The “Norbulingka Institute” is situated at Sidhpur 10km from Dharamsala town. “Norbulingka” literally “The Jeweled Park” is named after the summer residence of Dalai Lama at Lhasa. It has a beautiful Buddha temple, a Japanese inspired garden, a dolls house and a craft centre. Built in the traditional Tibetan style, it’s set in a beautiful garden, flowing streams, small waterfalls, bridges, and koi ponds, while the spectacular Dhualadhar Mountains of the outer Himalayas rise impressively in the background. The “Norbulingka Institute” has a mission to preserve and promote Tibetan Culture.
